But can you still combine the lighter with the twig?
Probably. After all, fire and wood usually come together to create an ample supply of ash. Seriously, you can do everything that you could do in the last Resi, only this time you can do other stuff as well.
Like what? Do you actually know?
For starters, explosive items such as barrels can be used to take out a bunch of zombies in one go, just like in Doom. Another cool new addition involves a system of choices. For instance, early in the game we were confronted by a big horrible monster, with bad teeth and everything. The action paused and we were given the option to run into the police station or stay and fight it out. We chose to fight, of course.
Yeah, right!
Okay, so we chose to flee, but only after we saw someone else try to fight the beast and fail miserably. Was that a bit of a spoiler?
Maybe.
Sorry about that.
Have the graphics improved much?
Oh yes. The Resident Evil series has always looked lovely; after all, most of the scenery isn't interactive, but Nemesis takes the biscuit. The backgrounds are far more detailed than ever before, with nicely animated fire, glutinous drippage, fountains, etc. Gert lush!
Do say...
Death to all flesh-eating scum! Oh, you're already dead.
Don't say...
Live and let the dead live.
Bigger and better than ever before
Creating your own ammo is skill
Beautifully rendered backgrounds
Puzzles are a bit samey
Not as spooky as Silent Hill
