Okay, so we didn’t do that Swing preview on the PlayStation. I doubt we’ll get round to it now, things move too fast and there’s far too much other stuff to cover.

The more astute of you will realise that next week’s issue of Future Gamer will be heading towards your mail box on April Fool’s Day. Normally this is a fine excuse for games magazines to come up with all manner of ‘witty’ little skits. For us, nothing beats the spaghetti-growing trees of Panorama back in the ‘60s that started the trend in the media. Seeing as how we’ve never actually seen a funny April Fool’s joke in the games press (with the notable exception of C&VG’s nude Lara of a couple of years ago – the best a games magazine’s ever done), we’ll be avoiding all attempts to have a laugh at your expense. Call us Sour Pusses if you like, but we think Future Gamer’s got a job to do – keep you up to date with all that’s happening in the world of videogames.

That means all the usuals are going to be there: news, previews and reviews plus all that lovely Feedback, Gamer Life and so on. Future Gamer 21 will be delivered to you on Thursday April 1. Watch out for it, but don’t be scared.
