One of the big things of the year for me has been the way games have supported the Dual Shock controller on the PlayStation as it really adds something special to each game. I don't intend to buy a DC but I have to admit some of the games look truly stunning, and that's from MrSony himself. The best games this year have been Driver, F1 World GP2, Speed Freaks and FFVIII. However, the main games for this year, I feel, are yet to be released. I also think the Game Boy Color has to be mentioned, along with Future Gamer, of course - where would we be without that?
This gaming year has not been stunning but it's had its moments. However, the future... Well, there's something to look forward to!
Mr Kevin
Happy first birthday, Future Gamer! I look forward to having the new edition in my inbox every Thursday to see the latest reviews so I know about any recommended Dreamcast or N64 games. I love reading Game Kid because I think it's really funny, and A Site For Sore Eyes always has a cool website to visit. It seems hard to see why a magazine of this calibre has only been going a year - why didn't it come out sooner? I think it would be a good idea to briefly review what games are currently out in Japan and the US, though.
I think the decent games of next year will be Sega dominated, with the highly anticipated Soul Calibur and RPG Shenmue to name just a couple.
