| Star Trek: Hidden Evil |
| PC |
From: Activision |
A point-and-click adventure set in the Star Trek universe and a damn fine one at that. It's not an all-time classic, but it's bloody good. An adventure game stands or falls on its puzzles and the ones in Star Trek: Hidden Evil are out of the top drawer. Everything you need is always there and how to use it can be a poser at times, but never to the point that it's completely illogical (captain. Geddit?). It's thoroughly engrossing stuff and once you've been hooked you'll want to play this all the way through to its conclusion.

From: Ubi Soft |
This is a game for kids using the Playmobile plastic people. It's essentially a simple 3D adventure game and would normally be ignored here at Future Gamer because it's a kids' game, but it's just too good to pass over. Everything's been so well done that your little uns are bound to get loads of fun out of this one because Ubi Soft haven't tried to dilute the game by forcing little Johnny to learn something every five minutes. This is colourful, entertaining and well put together stuff that's ideally suited for the younger members of the household. It's not Zelda, but it's impressive nonetheless.
