Re-Volt page 2 of 2

So to the graphics... Nicole or Papa?
Most definitely Nicole, especially if you've got the Expansion Pak. Probe Entertainment, the creators of Extreme G, have given Re-Volt a completely new graphics engine with awesome lighting effects and rich textures.

Nice. All we need now is a splendid multiplayer mode.
Which is exactly what you're going to get. Up to four players can indulge in a bit of split-screen action a la Mario Kart 64, with a host of race and battle options. Weapons will range from the perennial classic 'homing missile' to the wacky 'giant steel ball', which rolls along squishing everything in its path.

Sweet as a nut!
Calm down, we haven't even talked about the track editor yet.

Surely you're yanking my chain...
Nope. The rather lovely folk at Probe have included a track edit mode. You'll be able to create your own courses, using bits of track and scenery from the existing ones. Then you can save them onto a Controller Pak and share them with your mates. You could even use a DexDrive and put your favourite tracks onto the Internet for the whole world to enjoy.

Sounds too good to be true.
All you have to do is wait.

*Plenty of beautifully designed cars - 28 in all
*Multiplayer modes never fail to amuse
*Splendid graphics, thanks to the Expansion Pak
*14 varied tracks set in outsized environments
*The track editor should be a lot of fun
