So it's a sort of humane form of hunting.
Yes it is.
It sounds a little bit dull/pointless though.
Well there is a little bit more to it. Some of the Pokemon are a trifle shy and you'll need to coax them out with apples... they're apple-mad you see. Others will react aggressively to being photographed and may charge at you. The whole point is to get interesting photos and share them with your friends.
Interesting?
Like one of a Pokemon eating an apple, fighting, mating (unlikely)... you know the kind of thing. It's a bit like some of the levels in Pilotwings, where points were based on positioning, composition, etc.
Fair enough, but how do I share them with my friends?
Erm... don't know. In Japan you can take your cart to a shop, plug it into a machine and print out a bunch of colour stickers from your favourite photos. Maybe something like this will happen in the UK, although it is highly unlikely.
Bummer! What can we do?
You could start by lobbying your MP.
*There is nothing else like it
*The little fellas are actually quite cute
*A real slice of Japanese culture... like sushi cut with a Global knife
*It's like going to an alien zoo on your N64
*Might be a little too weird for some
