Nick Goldsworthy, Bullfrog

FG: What's the most underrated game ever?
NG:
They Stole a Million. A great bankrobbery game, where you were the Boss. Not to be confused with They Sold a Million.

FG: Have you ever lied to an arcade attendant to get a free credit?
NG:
No, but I often find the odd coinage by scooping my hand through the trays of slot machines.

FG: Who in the games industry do you most admire?
NG:
Game testers that have been with our studio for over six years. I dunno how they keep it up without major burnout. Hats off to them.

FG: What was the first videogame you ever played?
NG:
Donkey Kong on the Commodore Pet. It was monochrome and used keyboard letters for the graphics. It was my first addiction. Game & Watch was popular at school.

FG: Have you ever cancelled a date to play a videogame?
NG:
All the time. My wife fancies going out for a meal, I fancy a game on Zelda. It's a close call, but I usually end up with a slap and a few doors being slammed shut and hefty footsteps heard through the ceiling.

FG: What videogame websites do you have bookmarked?
NG:
Too many to list, I usually check a few sites daily.

FG: Did you ever own a Jaguar?
NG:
Dangerous pets, I'd stay well clear of them both. But, for the record, no.

FG: What game are you most looking forward to playing?
NG:
Ultima Ascension - it looks fantastic and with Richard Garriot behind it I know it's gonna be deep. And just like everyone else in the office I'm also waiting for Tiberian Sun.

FG: What's the first game you look for in an arcade?
NG:
Usually an old classic like Nemesis, Gorf or Pacmania. They are usually only ten pence a go and you can last ages. A lot better than spending a pound on a one-minute ski simulation.

FG: Do you ever play videogames in the nude?
NG:
How can I answer this? Hmm, to be honest no, never. And never will I. Never. Ever. Unless The Mistress told me so.....
