Okay, that sounds like a plus point. What else does it offer?
There are seven courses including Royal Birkdale (the site of the 1998 British Open) and the Sahalee Country Club (scene of the 1998 PGA Championships). There's commentary throughout, not only describing how well a player's struck a ball but offering valuable tips too, a la "The wind here's surely going to make the players head for the centre of the fairway on this dog-leg".

Motion-captured golfers? Innumerable camera angles?
Oh for sure. But there's more. Instead of the normal turn-based gameplay, if you're playing multiplayer (and the game supports LAN and Internet play) you can view the action from where you like. You can be sizing up your putt while your opponent is actually taking theirs. This not only makes the game more realistic, but actually faster too.

That sounds like a great idea! All it needs now is a course designer tool...
Clever clogs. You knew I was getting to that. Yup, there's a simple-to-use course manipulation tool whereby you can mess around with a hole 'til your heart's content.

Fore!
Why on earth do golfer's say that?

*Uses the lovely mouse swing control method
*You're no longer restricted in your viewing options
*Has a course-designing utility included
*Official courses
*Hardly revolutionises the genre
