Rat Attack page 2 of 2
N64

There's no such thing! And that's only seven! Get on with it!
You're right... I meant to say rollerskates. Atomicat is a mutant, a kind of feline Toxic Avenger.

Thank you. So how do you get rid of the rats?
There are plenty of cunning techniques and devices at your disposal - from the simple bite to the Destructor (a kind of rat-disposal system) and the Metallicat (think Metal Mario from Mario 64). The Eradicator is the most commonly used method of rodent-riddance. Its use involves 'drawing' a loop around the rats in order to trap them. However, if a rat touches the loop before it is complete it will disappear and you'll have to start over. Other weapons of note include the good old-fashioned rat trap and the rather less common 'sexy rat' (used as a nifty diversion).

How about the rats? Are there various types?
There are many types of rat, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. At first you'll usually encounter soldiers, although later you'll come across vampire, genius, mummy, martian, jelly and devil varieties. There is also another, far more menacing enemy... Bennett the dog. He's a bit like Butch in the old Tom & Jerry cartoons in that he hates cats and he's usually asleep. The rats will do anything to try and rouse him.

Nice. So what have we forgotten this week then?
Umm... multiplayer? Yes, there will be some four-player action to be had in there. Anything else?

You haven't told me anything of the graphics or the perspective!
Sorry. The graphics are of the hi-res variety and the whole shebang is played from an overhead 3D perspective. Satisfied?

Eventually.
Bloody cheek.

*Nice cartoon-style presentation
*It's got rats in it. And cats
*Four-player fun is always a bonus
*Rats aren't horrible at all. In fact they are cute
*Might not actually be very much fun
