How disturbing! However, this scene is from the introductory sequence
A bushy tailed adventuresome hero named Kingsley? Can this be so? Psygnosis' much-delayed platform cum adventure at last shows its face...

Kingsley? Hasn't this game been kicking around for a while?
You're not wrong. Psygnosis, you may remember, went through what is politely termed as a 'transitional period' and now Sony have picked up the publishing rights to the game. They own Psygnosis, you know.
Remind me... what's it all about?
A pair of pointed ears, a long muzzle and a bushy tail. Reddish-brown. That's the protagonist, Kingsley. He's a fox, as you may have surmised. The action itself slides between the platform and adventure genres and sees our aforementioned predatory mammal taking on baddies lead by an evil rodent wizard called Bad Custard (real name Robin O' Shaughnessy). Custard has purloined the Queen of the Fruit Kingdom's Book of Magic and...
Jesus wept! Get to the point.
... he's using a spell from it to about-turn all the Fruit Kingdom's True Knights into Dark Knights. And don't take that tone.
Is Kingsley a True Knight?
No, he's a bloody cartoon fox.
Oh! What does the 'cartoon fox' have to do, then?
"He has to become a True Knight!" (triumphantly).
Bum bag!
Heh, heh, heh...
How does he get to be a True Knight?
The evil Custard must be brought forth to account for his dastardly actions. When this is done, Kingsley will receive his investiture. But the Fruit Kingdom is a shadowy place, replete with themed villages.
Such as?
There's a piratical island, 'Carrot Castle', and woodland to explore; in all there are five castles, four dungeons and two islands with snow and rain effects.
