Let me guess! Let me guess! It's a wartime trading game!
Stupid boy. Elite here doesn't refer to any sort of trading - it means the cream of the crop, the best of the lot. It is a wargame though.

Set in the Second World War perchance?
Naturally. When tanks were arguably at their most popular and effective in battle.

Those Panzers were pretty good, weren't they?
They sure were, and they came in dozens of different shapes and sizes too. Bet you didn't know that only 487 Tiger II or King Tiger tanks were produced.

No, I didn't. Has that got anything to do with the game?
Of course. There are all manner of tanks to drive in this game, both German and American, but there's more to it than just jumping into a tank and getting your tracks rolling.

Such as?
Well, this is more of a simulation than an arcade game, although the arcade side of things is well catered for. Imagine a more detailed version of Wargasm, but without the foot soldier and helicopter flying bits.

It's complicated then?
Controlling the tanks isn't as simple as you might first think. The turret moves independently to the hull, so unless you've got a decent joystick, you're going to tie your fingers in knots trying to drive the things and send messages to your comrades.
