Codies' New Racer

'Micro Machines without cars' in development

Meddlesome rumours abound surrounding a new racing game in development at Codemasters. The Warwickshire-based crew, famous for their splendid Colin McRae, TOCA and Micro Machines games, are said to be working on another racer, mysteriously codenamed 'Little Bastards'.

Rather than using the traditional tin box on wheels, Little Bastards is to be based on "disfigured biped" creatures. Codemasters have an exemplary reputation of late (let's hope Naseem Boxing and that mountain bike affair come up to scratch) and Little Bastards could be another star turn. Codemasters are expected to release more details at a trade show in September.

Expect a change of name before release. Obviously...
