Puzzles and things to solve?
Oh yes, and plenty of quests to get involved in too but you won't have to do them all on your tod because you'll be joined by other vampires during the game as you struggle towards your final objective.

No multiplayer then?
On the contrary. There's co-operative multiplayer and the option to play as either the hunter or the hunted. There's even a facility called Storyteller mode, which enables a player to create and run their own adventures using the game's excellent 3D engine.

That sounds well cool
Doesn't it just? The attention's not been taken away from the single-player game though, there's plenty of story and gameplay to keep solo vampires battling and adventuring for many a day.

But haven't they just made an RPG and chucked a license on it?
Not at all. Because the White Wolf Vampire system is so popular the developers have tried to stay as close to it as possible. They've crafted the game around the system rather than just doing their own thing, so anyone who's familiar with the system should be well happy.

But I've never played any of White Wolf's RPGs...
Fret not. You won't have to be an RPG nut to get to grips with Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption, it's easily accessible to the novice but aficionados will appreciate some of the game's more subtle points, that's all.

Oh. Fancy a 'stake'?
I'm licking my lips and looking at you in a 'funny' way...

  • Sumptuous graphics in four fully 3D 'worlds'
  • You get to nuzzle the necks of nubiles
  • Great multiplayer options including Storyteller mode
  • Faithful to the original White Wolf system
  • The life-force might be sucked all too quickly
