There are some strange people in the world, but they all have to eat, right? Make mine a 12" deep pan with ants and octopus topping and a side salad please.
Ben Morris
You've probably never thought of the pizza business as being terribly complicated. Simply open up a shop, whack out some cheesy stuffed-crust toppings and you're away. Surely that's all there is to it? Well, any budding entrepreneurs out there can test their culinary prowess in the safety of Pizza Land with Pizza Syndicate.
As you'd expect from a place called Pizza Land, the populace are particularly fond of the Italian cheese-encrusted meal. It's a perfect place to set up a world dominating pizza chain, which is the aim of Pizza Syndicate. You may be mistaken for thinking that this bears an uncanny similarity to Pizza Tycoon and you'd be right; the game has been revamped and re-released in a brand new incarnation.
In a similar way to the likes of Theme Park and Sim City, you must build a successful business from scratch using only your wits and a bit of luck. As you travel from city to city setting up your restaurant chain, you must take stock of every little piece of the business, from hiring staff to inventing new and unusual pizza toppings. Your ability to do this will greatly affect the success of your business in a particular city and, ultimately, the success of your chain as a whole.
