| Future Gamer: Issue 44 |
£0.00 |
Virgin are making waves in the retail trade again by refusing to take new PlayStation games with an RRP of over £34.99. Ever thought you'd get to deathmatch on your Game Boy Color? In 3D? You'll be able to soon. ISS Pro Evolution on the PlayStation picked up the prestigious Game Of The Show Award at this week's ECTS and the ex bosses of Psygnosis and code shop Digital Image Design have joined forces to start a new venture.
All these stories and more can be found within this week's ECTS-themed issue of Future Gamer. And while we're talking ECTS, a big Lard-style 'Wahp!' goes out to all of the Future Gamer Clan who came down for the event. If you didn't make it yourself, there's always next year.
Future Gamer have been examining their collective belly-button of late and we've got some great new ideas for the website which we'll be implementing in the coming months, so keep checking out www.futuregamer.com. Try to get online tomorrow afternoon between 4 pm and 6 pm too (Friday September 10), because the Future Gamer gang will be indulging in some rather groovy live chat and we'd like you all to come along and join in.
Speak to you all then!

Review: Wip3out (PlayStation)
Chances are you'll already own a copy of Psygnosis' hugely popular futuristic racer WipeOut. If you don't, the chances are you'll own a copy of WipeOut 2097, so why would you want to buy Wip3out? Find out here. |

Feature: You Can Go Back To Sleep Now...
Last week Simon Kirrane's This Is Your Wake Up Call argued that games had little to offer the world. It caused a bit of a stir, so we've asked Jon Palmer to counter Simon's tirade. This will take some time so the concluding part will be here next week. |
