Codemasters get a Brave Heart

Codies continue their external development programme by signing Braveheart developers

Scottish development house Red Lemon Studios, who recently released Braveheart via Eidos, have signed a major deal to produce a game for Warwickshire-based Britsoft outfit Codemasters - publishers of Colin McRae Rally - for late next year.

Andy Campbell, Red Lemon Studio's Managing Director, said, "We're thrilled to be involved in a development project with Codemasters. The company is recognised for its long-standing expertise in design and gameplay executions and it's well known that they set a tough agenda when selecting development talent to work with."

There are no details on the game yet, nor even a name, aside from the fact that it will appear across several formats but is unlikely to appear on either N64, Dreamcast or PlayStation 2. When more details emerge, we'll pass 'em on.
