| Psygnosis Founder Sets Up New Company |
Former DID and Psygnosis founders start Evolution
Psygnosis co-founder Ian Hetherington and former big cheese at Digital Image Design Martin Kenwright have set up a new development outfit called Evolution Studios. Hetherington saw massive success at Psygnosis before selling his share, and DID have recently been taken over by Infogrames. Both men's track records are impressive to say the least and they plan to develop games for the next generation of consoles.
"We share a common view of the development process, of the need to focus on the core values that first motivated us to bring immersive, compelling games software to the public," Ian Hetherington said to trade paper CTW. "Our aim is to develop a profitable and professional business that understands and recognises the motivations and needs of games players everywhere."
"Interesting," as Barry Davies would say. "Very interesting." Sorry...
