ECTS: No Show for Star Trek: New World

Playable demo fails to materialise

Despite being told by Interplay just days before the European Computer Trade Show that a playable demo of their Star Trek: New Worlds game would be available, it wasn't.

The game was on show on the Virgin stand but no playable demo discs were available. This came as no surprise to Future Gamer, who learnt that the game's developers, Binary Asylum, recently ceased trading. This leaves Interplay in the position of having to find new coders to finish the game, which was slated for a November release on PC.
