Bizarre Creations' Furballs

Comical puzzler set for Dreamcast

Furballs is the second Dreamcast game under development at Bizarre Creations, the Liverpool-based codeshop. The other, Metropolitan Street Racer, is one of the Dreamcast's most eagerly awaited titles, and it's in the racing genre that Bizarre have cemented their reputation - they produced both Formula 1 and the seminal F1 '97 for Psygnosis on PlayStation.

Furballs has been signed up by Acclaim and is said to feature a slew of cute characters who get involved in all manner of comical scrapes. The game crosses genre boundaries and combines platform, puzzle, adventure and strategic action.

"We've been developing Furballs over the past two years," said Bizarre's Business Development Director Sarah Dixon.
