ECTS: Award Winners

Future Gamer were among the 25 European journalists on the panel to vote for our favourite games at ECTS, and here are the winners:

  • Overall Best Game of the Show: ISS Pro Evolution (PlayStation), Konami
  • Best PC Game of the Show: Grand Prix 3 (PC), Hasbro Interactive
  • Best PlayStation Game of the Show: ISS Pro Evolution, Konami
  • Best Nintendo 64 Game of the Show: Donkey Kong 64, Nintendo
  • Best Dreamcast Game of the Show: Ready 2 Rumble, Midway
  • Best Multiplayer Game of the Show: Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear, Red Storm

    Congratulations to all of them. The ECTS Awards - called 'Stars' - were presented to the winners on the last day of the show.

    Also, the winners of the Game of the Year Awards, as voted for by international gaming magazines, were announced and are as follows:

  • Game of the Year - Japan: Ultima Online (PC), EA
  • Game of the Year - Russia: Half-Life (PC), Havas
  • Game of the Year - Scandinavia: Rollercoaster Tycoon (PC), Hasbro Interactive
