Dear Future Gamer

Since the age of 10 I've bought most consoles that have come onto the market. At the moment I have not one but two PlayStations with a link-up cable and a PC. I'm bored of this though, and I now need to explore the new technology of today's world. At the moment I have the money to buy either a Dreamcast or the PlayStation2 when they come out. The problem is, I don't know which to get. Could you point out the pros and cons and maybe even suggest what I should do?

FG: Eeh, if we had a pound for every request like this we receive... We'd have £8. Dreamcast launches on October 14 with 17 games, some of them spectacularly good, and there'll be loads more games coming out before Christmas. PlayStation2 will be grand, be in no doubt about that, but it won't launch here for another year, so it very much depends on how bored you are, really...
