This Week: Game Kid's Vague Game Manual.

This week, to celebrate the beginning of Future Gamer's second year, we were going to run 'The Best of Game Kid', but as that's a contradiction in terms we've decided to go with this instead - a truly awful manual for a shoot 'em up mission pack entitled SHAKE III: The Arena...

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIEMENTS

  • You probably need some space on your hard drive. How much depends on what applications you already have.
  • A force-feedback joystick is essential. On the other hand, you could try using a mouse.
  • A computer may also be useful, if you've got one.

    THE STORY
    The walls of whatever it is you're in could well be closing in around you. Already there's possibly a smell in the air. Or there might be in the near future - you never know.
    "On my marks! Five... or maybe 20..."
    You might be tensing yourself as almost certainly the whole of whatever it is you're in does something. Sort of.

    INSTALLATION
    Note: Follow the on-screen instructions, if there are any, as they guide you through the installation process.

    THE BASICS OF PLAY
  • Goal of the game: your objectives will be explained to you by your field computer, if there is such a thing.
  • Game structure: Shake III contains four 'things' of a size that's difficult to ascertain.
