You said that even a few of the irregulars of the series featured, so Chef must be in it, surely...
Chef is in it (in a green station wagon, to be precise), and there are 30 different racers in all - including Big Gay Al and Terrance and Phillip. Hundreds of soundbites, catchphases and obscenities from the show have been incorporated, so when your character zaps someone or is zapped, your living room will be filled with a series of familiar expletives.
Nice. So how do the karts drive?
Very well. They zip round the corners nicely, although each character's vehicle handles differently. They take jumps well too, and they get up to quite a rate of knots when they hit a power up, of which there are many.
What about the graphics? The graphics of the show itself are, well... crap.
The look of the game will be a matter of taste, really. To some gamers it will look primitive and it's very difficult to see where you're going half the time, but to fans of South Park it will look exactly as it should. Crap, in other words.
So what do think of it then? I mean really...
Well, to some it may look a little weak, but it could prove an amusing diversion. A South Park too far? Maybe... They've certainly got a lot of work to do before it can be flagged as a quality game.
Do say...
Perhaps it's time they killed Kenny.
Don't say...
Oh, this game is based on the episode when Cartman...
Lots of tracks
Lots of bizarre weapons
A host of South Park characters to race with
The driving engine seems alright
The graphics, though, are looking very poor at the moment
