Dear Future Gamer
Well, having just brought an N64 with a shed-load of games for under £200, I'm now wondering how the hell this has happened. If the machine can bring us games such as GoldenEye and Zelda, why are there not more of these games available?
The N64 is dying due to a number of reasons. First, Nintendo charge too much for new releases. Second, not enough games have been released. The N64 has also picked up the image of being a kiddies' console and, finally, it hasn't had enough advertising.
Like you said in FG59, it's too little too late for Nintendo. I've seen more adverts for N64s and Donkey Kong over the Christmas period than Dreamcast and PlayStation adverts put together. However, the N64 just doesn't have the image. The PlayStation is now a worldwide name and what did everyone want for Christmas? A Dreamcast!
The N64 may be dying, but I'm just so glad that in years to come, I'll be able to say I was there.

It is a sad state of affairs - the N64 has had some of the best games ever created and yet Joe Public hasn't been made sufficiently aware of them. Here's hoping Dolphin doesn't go the same way.
