| NASCAR Racing 3 |
| PC |
From: Sierra Sports |
The first NASCAR game was great, but then our expectations for PC driving games was low. NASCAR 2 began to show its age a couple of years later and now NASCAR 3 is looking very jaded. The graphics are bad, the gameplay's not as good as it should be and, overall, this game's got little going for it. It sets itself up as a simulation and, to be fair, gives you plenty to tinker with to suit your style of driving, but after going through all the motions to be rewarded with an unrewarding driving experience is a big disappointment. As an enjoyable driving game it's left for dust by games like Le Mans and TOCA 2. Don't buy it.

| Le Mans 24 Hours |
| PC |
From: Infogrames |
The officially licensed game from the most famous of endurance races and yes, you can drive for 24 hours if you wish. The game looks great, plays well and the representation of the actual circuit is splendid. There are Arcade and Championship modes for you to play through in GT 2, GT 1 and Prototype classes. Our only gripe is that you can't pick which class you want to race in when you're doing the full Le Mans race: you have to start in GT 2. Still, we like it, and though we question the game's AI a little, we'd recommend it to anyone interested in sports car racing. We didn't complete the 24 hour race, though, giving up when we were still running 24th and last after six hours.
