Future Gamer: Issue 67 £0.00

Dominating the news, not surprisingly, are the reports coming from the PlayStation2 Festival that took place in Tokyo during the week. Because of space limitations though, we've left most of the 'Ooh! Look! A new screenshot from GT 2000!' out of this deliverable, but you can check them all out at the website. Elsewhere this week is the news that pan-European gaming portal WON.net has launched, and tying in nicely with out main feature on cheating, Datel have launched an Action Replay cart for Dreamcast.

Oh, and you'll notice we've got rid of the news ticker (or static headlines if you read this in Netscape) from this Front Page because we think it's outlived it usefulness. If you strongly object, let me know and we'll reconsider.

Enjoy the magazine.

Andy Smith - Editor

In this issue:
Preview: Toshinden 4 (PlayStation)
The Toshinden series has always been the poor relation to the Tekken series of fighting games on PlayStation, but it has a cult following and we've been playing with the latest incarnation. You want some?
Review: Rollcage Stage II (PlayStation)
We enjoyed Psygnosis' 'Wipeout on wheels' the first time round, and here's the sequel. Is it simply more of the same, or has it been improved to make it an even more enjoyable gaming experience?
Feature: Cheat! Cheat! Cheat!
Cheats never prosper but they may get more out of their games. Is it morally defendable? Michael Foster ponders that very question in the first of a two-part feature. We know the answer, because we've cheated and read the second part already.

Future Gamer was brought to you by: Andy Smith [editor], Mark Wheatley [deputy editor], Andy Ashwin [news editor] and Gideon Kibblewhite [staff writer]. Contributors: Ben Morris, James Price, Seb Duggan, Dale Bradford, Tim Smith, Martin Kitts, Michael Foster, Rob Wilson
