Future Gamer: Issue 70 £0.00

These are exciting times. One week after PlayStation2's launch in Japan we get all the details on Microsoft's X-Box and you can read all about it inside. Sony and Microsoft aren't the only ones making hardware news this week as poor old Nintendo announce, officially, that the Dolphin's going to miss its original launch date. Also making the news this week are Codemasters and Take 2 as they announce that they'll be taking advantage of Sony's new third-party price structures, which can only be good news for us gamers.

Sorry if I got you all excited last week with the promise that I'd be able to tell you of Future Gamer's exciting expansion plans, but I'm afraid I can't just yet. Don't worry, you'll be first to find out but you'll have to wait another week at least - it'll be worth it, honest.

Andy Smith - Editor

In this issue:
Preview: Die Hard Trilogy 2 (PC)
The original Die Hard Trilogy - a combination of three games in one - was a fine game that proved popular with the public and so, naturally, Fox Interactive have prepared a sequel. We've been running around a virtual Las Vegas with guns ablazing.
Review: Ridge Racer 64 (N64)
One of the PlayStation's biggest-name games finally makes its debut on Nintendo's machine. Has it survived the transition or power-slid its way into the annals of 'oh dear, why did they bother?'. Find out here.
