FG: What's the most overrated game ever?
BR: Combining all of the hype, the popularity of the licence, the expectations of innovation set by the development team and the huge amount of boxes shipped to stores, I have to put Trespasser at the top of the list.
FG: What's the most underrated game ever?
BR: The Superhero League of Hoboken was a fantastic game that combined elements of the adventure and RPG genres while maintaining a fantastic sense of humour. Unfortunately, it never got the support it needed from the publisher and not many people played it.
FG: Have you ever lied to an arcade attendant to get a free credit?
BR: Of course, who hasn't?
FG: Who in the games industry do you most admire?
BR: Sid Meier. He is incredibly talented, has the rare ability to take an idea and make it a reality and through all of his successes remained a truly down-to-earth and accessible person.
FG: What was the first videogame you ever played?
BR: Pong. I still remember when my parents brought it home from Sears and hooked it up to the television. I was hooked.
FG: Have you ever cancelled a date to play a videogame?
BR: No, even I haven't lost sight of all my priorities. I did take a date to play videogames, however, and once I ended a really terrible date early so I could get back home and open my newly purchased copy of Gran Turismo.
FG: What videogame websites do you have bookmarked?
BR: Any and all that I can find, and I just keep adding more. My bookmark listing is pretty obnoxious.
FG: Did you ever own a Jaguar?
BR: Assuming you don't mean the cat or the car, no.
FG: What game are you most looking forward to playing?
BR: Without trying to put in a blatant plug, Diablo II. We are still a few months away from getting it all put together, and I am already salivating. It really appeals to me as a gamer, and the replayability promises to be unprecedented in an RPG.
FG: What's the first game you look for in an arcade?
BR: Robotron. It is still one of my all-time favourites.
FG: Do you ever play videogames in the nude?
BR: Once, when I lost a bet, and the photos and negatives were destroyed...
