Win one of five copies of V-Rally Multiplayer Championship Edition!
Yummy! We've got five copies of Infogrames' rather lovely V-Rally Multiplayer Championship Edition PC game to give away.
V-Rally's gone down a storm on the PlayStation (er, 'cos it's rather good) and this month PC owners will be also able to indulge their vehicular fantasies as the game races into the shops. Though the features of the game are similar to the PlayStation version, namely 42 tracks in eight countries, with Arcade, Championship and Time Trial modes and a slew of weather conditions, the PC version of the game has been enhanced to take full advantage of today's 3D accelerator cards. It also has multiplayer options so up to four players can race each other on a Local Area Network or via the Internet.
And what do you have to do to win one of these five copies?
Answer this simple question:
What does the V in V-Rally actually stand for?
Get your answer, by email, to Andy Ashwin by Thursday, May 6, 1999. The first five correct entries pulled from the electronic hat will each win a copy of the game.
The minimum specifications required to run V-Rally on your PC are:
Pentium 166 MMX or compatible
32Mb RAM
3D card (4Mb RAM min)
Sound card
Employees of Future Publishing, Infogrames or 4DC may not enter the competition. Multiple entries will be classed as cheating and binned. The editor's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Closing date for entries is Thursday, May 6, 1999 and winners will be published in Future Gamer on Thursday, May 13, 1999.
