Future Gamer: Issue 25 £0.00

Welcome to another weekly edition of Future Gamer. If you didn't know already we now update the FG website daily - check it out. Each and every day we're posting new reviews, previews, letters and features as well as all the day's news.

Obviously we're still mailing out the weekly version of the magazine (er, you're reading it) but if you're after a daily games fix, there's only one site you need now visit. Get yourself along to The FG website - you won't be disappointed. One of the major changes you'll notice there is that we've done away with the Screenshot Xtra section. What no screenshots? Of course there are but, cleverly, the site's machine-specific now. Suppose you want to read the MechWarrior 3 preview? Go to the PC section, click on Previews and there you are. Complete with screenshots. There's even a bar on the left saying 'More Screenshots'. Click on this and you get a whole page, just of screenshots. It's easy when you know how, eh?

There's all your usual goodies in here folks, so sit back and enjoy. We'll catch up with you again next week.

In this issue:
Preview: Ape Escape (PlayStation)
Many have tried and failed to emulate the sheer class act that is Mario on the N64. Finally, it seems the PlayStation has a contender, with this, Sony's latest stab at a free-roaming 3D adventure. FG introduces the newest kid on the block.
Review: Alien Vs Predator (PC)
There are plenty of first-person shooters on the PC, but none that let you 'be' an Alien, Predator or marine. Until now. Find out if the wait's been worth it for this potential PC smash.
Feature: Retails of Woe
With the standard of games constantly rising and every moneyed ad campaign promising the best thing since Zelda, it's not surprising that some cracking games get sidelined. We round up some must-have titles that you might just be missing.

Future Gamer was brought to you by: Andy Smith [editor], Steve Bradley [deputy editor], Vicki West [production editor] and Andy Ashwin [staff writer]. Contributors: James Price, Neil West, Steve Owen, Ben Morris, Gideon Kibblewhite, Dale Bradford, Tony Banks.
