The Unofficial Ali G's Real Audio Ghetto

Ali G. Sarf East London's finest spoof export is the undoubted star of Channel 4's 11 o'clock show. The voice of Clapham's tower blocks, and undisputed champion of gold jewellery and a life of chillin' with spray cans and loose women, he regularly terrorises high-brow representatives of our national institutions with his smooth brand of piss-take ghetto patter.

Recent victim, Sir Rhodes Boyson, former Tory education minister, found himself discussing spliffage and corporal punishment in the same breath. "Do you think kids should be caned in school?" asks a deadpan Ali. G. "I do", says the old boy. "You do?" chirps Ali in trademark Jamaican drawl. "Wicked!"

Future Gamer's favourite has to be Ali's interview with a female professor and director of The Centre for Gender Research. Deliberately mistaking the term feminism for lesbianism he asks the professor "Whether it is alright for your girlfriend to try it when they is drunk at a party?"

Ali's style of humour isn't exactly new but his delivery and patois make it such entertaining listening you'll pick all of the Real Audio clips and listen to them again and again.

Head for Ali G's Unofficial Audio Ghetto where rrrespect is most definitely due.
