Dear Future Gamer
Just a little item that you guys may or may not already know about. In the last couple of days, my local UCI cinema (The Point in Milton Keynes) has installed two free-to-play Dreamcast units. They look like the units at E3 as they're in stand-up glass cabinets with 17 inch TVs and two joypads attached to each machine.
At The Point they have two consoles, one running Sonic Adventure and the other running Sega Rally 2. They look like complete versions of the games, with all the characters available in Sonic and so on. There's no time limit imposed either, as I had a good 10 minute play before watching my film last night.
I would guess this is a new promotion by UCI and that Dreamcasts will be making appearances all round the country. I certainly hope so as it will give people a chance to play the games and see the Dreamcast in action right now, as opposed to having to wait until September.
Scott

Thanks for that, Scott. It's good to know that Sega have kickstarted their marketing campaign, and the tie-in with UCI seems like a good idea to us. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more similar happenings in the run-up to, and after, the Dreamcast launch on September 23.
