MiG Alley (PC)

Vroom, and moreover, dagga dagga dagga dagga dagga. Indeed. MiG Alley's a flight sim which demands that you grapple with the controls of a 1950s fighter plane. You get to choose from a number of US and Russian planes before shooting your way through a sequence of splendidly enjoyable missions.

Coders Rowan Software are masters at developing exciting, accurate and yet not overly complex flight sims, and MiG Alley continues in this tradition. Visually, it's incredibly detailed and you can see smoke, fuel leaks and all sorts of other unpleasant emissions. And the planes fly like they would have done four decades ago, apparently. Well, have you flown one? Thought not.

Anyway, it's the best flight sim for ages.
