Not to be confused with Mouse of the Dead 2, where one of Bagpuss's furry little friends expires, is resurrected, cuts off Professor Yaffle's beak with a pair of pliers and stabs Emily to death with it. It makes House of the Dead 2 seem like The Clangers, that one does.

Reviewing games is difficult. It's all so subjective, this 'liking' business. And light gun games? Oh, they're the worst. They seem to polarize opinions right down the middle. With that in mind, we've decided not to review House of the Dead 2. You can draw your conclusions from the following quiz instead.
1: Do you like shooting things?
A: Yes. Why, only a moment ago, I shot a cow! We have the right to arm bears! Roar!
B: It's okay in a simulated context.
C: "Moonchild? Have you been using my sarong as a teepee, again? And put down that bong!"
2: How do you feel about the undead? Is your trigger finger twitching?
A: Is it ever! And so are my pants!
B: They make good, morally acceptable fodder for shoot 'em ups. So yeah, they're fine by me.
C: We should learn to love our un-alive cousins.
3: Okay. How do you feel about a Dreamcast-based arcade conversion where you shoot lots of undead creatures with a light gun?
A: Brilliant!
B: That might present a worthwhile diversion. It depends on how much of a challenge it is.
C: That's doesn't sound like my sort of thing at all.
