Can you mess with the cars?
Indeed, and in more ways than one. Damage to your car is displayed by a little diagram in the corner of your screen and it's clearly visible on the cars themselves. Also, if you loose a wing or damage a wheel, for example, your pit calls you in, and if you don't go in your lap times are severely curtailed.
I like the sound of that.
Great, isn't it? You're also free to mess with your car in the garage, to fiddle knobs and alter the suspension and things. In fact, you're positively encouraged to try to have a tweak, although to start with you're quite likely to make a MacLaren drive like a Reliant Robin.
I hope illegal fins aren't involved.
No, they're not, but it is possible to get disqualified in F1 World Grand Prix, or 'black flagged' I should say.
Really? What for?
Oh, you know - deliberate bumping, cutting people into the barriers, driving round the circuit the wrong way and then having a head on collision - that sort of thing.
Is this Formula 1 World Grand Prix going to be hit then?
It certainly looks like it will. With its stunning scenery, quick, responsive cars and lavish attention to detail, World Grand Prix looks set to take the Dreamcast by storm, and every racing fan, on this evidence, is going to want to get their gloves on it.
Fast, fast, fast cars which handle well
Stunningly realistic graphics
Nice pit sequences
Full of oily hands-on options
You're gonna have to spend 200 quid on a Dreamcast
