Nostradamus Speaks

Dear Future Gamer

I recently bought a Dreamcast. Heck, I got it the day before Oct 13, which, judging by the stories I've heard, is very good! I wanted to ask you about something I've heard, that Sega already have plans made for Dreamcast2. Dreamcast has only just come out and they're planing a new console? I thought all their support should go to Dreamcast if they want it to be successful, especially with competition from PSX2 next year. What are Sega thinking? I heard that the new PVR chipset for the DC2 has just been completed, so how long does that mean my new console has got left? Is it going to turn into a PC where a new console comes out every year or less? Also, I've had to send my Dreamcast back twice because of a faulty D-PAD. Does anyone else have the problem that it's really stiff to use or is this normal?

FG: I suppose it was inevitable - once someone mentions PlayStation3 or Dreamcast2, everyone starts getting all Mystic Meg on us. Look people, it's quite probable that Sega, Sony, Nintendo and the rest are looking years ahead and might even be thinking about fourth and fifth generation machines, but please, please, don't go getting all het up about them for at least a couple more years. As for stiff Dreamcast pads, has anyone else had a problem with them?
