Dear Future Gamer

Great article about controllers through the ages, but can anyone remember about the little robot for the NES system? Can anyone actually tell me what it did?

FG: You're talking about ROB, the Robotic Operated Buddy (or something like that). This was a peripheral that you were supposed to 'play' games with; a sort of computerised second player. I can remember two games that utilised ROB - Gyromite and Stack Up (thanks, Future Gamer Forum!). Both were pants, as was ROB.
