When you think of Russia, images of vodka and furry hats probably come to mind. Definitely not a missile laden, flying, killing machine then? Time to learn a little more about what an Alligator can really do.

The alligator, a humble water dwelling reptile; strange then, that the Russians should assign this nickname to a death spewing helicopter gunship. Following on from the success of Team Apache, KA-52 Team Alligator places you in the role of the commander of a team of elite gunship pilots, with the opportunity to pilot this state-of-the-art machine in the Bellarusian war and the Tajikistan conflict.
Naturally, unless by some strange quirk of fate you really are an attack helicopter pilot, you'll need a spot of practice before embarking upon a full-scale war, if only to avoid the embarrassment of ditching your chopper into the nearest hillside. Fortunately, some detailed training missions are available to ensure familiarity with all the controls, subtle handling and manoeuvres needed to keep your Alligator airborne. Learning to command your fellow flight members is another skill worth mastering. Nothing beats having a group of similarly armed gunships at your disposal in a tricky situation.
Once fully trained you can begin the missions in the two campaigns. Objectives vary from fairly straightforward sweep and destroy missions to battlefield support and escort opportunities. Generally, you'll have anything up to 16 other helicopters to order about, but care must be taken not to expose your pilots to excessively dangerous situations as damaged or destroyed machines aren't very useful during critical missions.
