Dear Future Gamer

Regarding the feature you ran recently about controllers (FG54, 55), I think a logical development would be a controller that changed temperature. It would have to be set very carefully though, as you wouldn't want to see casualty units full of gamers frozen to their joypads. What it would give you is the cold of the ice caves and the heat of the desert. Also, I suspect that I've predicted the PlayStation2 controller for 2001, or did I say Dreamcast?

Stuart Betts

FG: It's a nice idea, Stuart. I'm not sure how practical it would be or how much it would add to the gameplaying experience, but it's a nice idea.
