But I'll have to pass the dreaded license tests first...
There are an extra 60 of them too! Don't worry though because there's a Permit Mode available for those too lame (or lazy) to pass. You can also use your old Gran Turismo saves to gain access to equivalent licenses in GT2.

Phew! I spent about eight hours getting that A-license. What's all this about a rallying section?
Gran Turismo 2 includes a Dirt Race mode, offering some of the finest rallying around. It may well turn out to be even better than Colin McRae's Rally. From our extensive playtesting we can reveal that GT2's rally section is more than just an afterthought. The car movement is completely different due to the loose surfaces, and it will require a completely different set of skills to master.

All this and a killer soundtrack?
So far we've heard Ash, The Cardigans, Everything But The Girl, Propellerheads, Stereophonics, Mansun and Fat Boy Slim. Not bad, eh? Shame they couldn't boot out Mansun in favour of Super Furry Animals though. Beck would be great too.

Or Geri Unholywail. Just kidding! I don't know how they can fit all this stuff on a CD though.
They haven't - Gran Turismo 2 comes on two CDs, one each for the arcade and GT modes.

Do say...
Can I have February off work by any chance?

Don't say...
Which is the shoot button?

  • 593 gorgeous looking cars...
  • ... and the hideous Ford Ka
  • Rally section offers a whole new challenge
  • An abundance of varied tracks
  • The cars still don't show damage
