Dear Future Gamer
On the subject of dodgy text in old adventures, I remembered something from Sierra's Police Quest 1. There's a bit in the game where you have to pull over a red sports car and in it is a pretty (well, as pretty as is possible in CGA graphics) woman. Now, you can either do things by the book and give her a ticket, or you can let her off. Or you can type in "Have sex with woman". And it works! In fact, you even get points for doing this. Now, you can't do THAT in modern adventure games, can you? This is also very amusing to 10-year-olds.
But on to another point: with today's rather larger storage capacities, couldn't graphic adventures with text input make a comeback? Surely more words and sentences could be recognised, with more room to store them in? I'd buy them, and I'm sure that a lot of other people would too.

And wouldn't it be great if you could see them perform the actions you'd just typed in? Ahem.
