Spot The Ball
Spot the Squall


All those wiggly lines on weather maps might look confusing but they're actually terribly useful and scientific. If you've studied weather maps for at least five years. Anyone worth their meteorological salt, for instance, should be able to look at this map and go, "Oh yes, there's a warm front here," and add loads of lines. With arrows.

So to win a bit of office PR tat, which could be anything from an Urban Chaos lump of road to a Body Harvest tub of slime, we'd like you to put an X where you think a squall is (look it up). It's easy enough to do: simply right click on the picture, choose 'Save As' and save it. Then import the picture into your favourite paint package, whack an X (or some of those meteorological lines if you fancy) on it, save it out again and email it to Andy Smith before February 3, 2000.

The winner will be, in the opinion of the judges, the funniest, cleverest or downright bizarrest entry we get. Normal rules apply and don't even think about multiple entries. Oh, and we've already thought about that bloke from FF8, so you'll have to be a bit smarter than that.
