Dear Future Gamer
With regards to not being able to scan your face into Perfect Dark using the Game Boy Color camera (FG64), I don't think it's a really terrible blow as no doubt it'll prevent newspapers from screaming, "SICK, VILE GAME ALLOWS YOU TO SHOOT FRIENDS IN THE HEAD!" or somesuch bollocks. Besides, as the recent previews of Perfect Dark have shown, they've implemented a whole slew of cool new features to compensate.
What's more of a scandal is the fact that peeps without a RAM pack (it's like the old Speccy days) can only play the two-player game and won't get to play the single-player or three- or four-player games.
Mind you, I still can't wait for it. Actually, it just reminded me that the face-mapping idea isn't exactly original - remember Corporation on the Amiga/ST/PC? You could send the publishers a photo of yourself and a disk and they'd send back a file that gave your in-game character your appearance.

It's a shame, but the feature was only ever going to be a cosmetic gimmick and surely it's better to lose that than something which fundamentally affects the gameplay.
