Guess not. Tell me more about the game...
We've spent some time with it recently and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. However, it doesn't feel quite right on PC. It's not all bad; it would just work so much better on PlayStation. We loved the original on PlayStation, apart from the Time Crisis-style section as we didn't have a gun! Trying to shoot multiple enemies with a Dual Shock was an absolute nightmare.
I did that too. Bloody frustrating. Is there a PlayStation version of this one?
Apparently, although we haven't received any code as yet. It would be nice to contrast and compare, especially if we could get hold of a really cool gun. The PC version does have the advantage of mouse-aiming for the ill-equipped, which works really well. It's just not the same as having a lethal hunk of solid plastic in your sweaty mitts though, is it?
Is the driving section as hard as in the original?
Ah, that has been changed rather a lot. The first one really was hard as nails, with loads of traffic, ridiculously fast cars and limited power-ups. DHT2's driving section is far more forgiving, although sometimes it does tend to crawl a little. Also, they've put loads more extra time and nitro pick-ups in each level - maybe too many, in fact. Let's hope they can strike a balance before the game is released.
Do say...
Uh... Yippie-ki-yay?
Don't say...
It's the same as the first one!
Three games for the price of one
Nice story-driven Movie mode with cool cinematic sequences
Lots of weapons and breakable scenery - wahoo!
Probably better on PlayStation
It's the same as the first one!
