Hidden and Dangerous (PC)

Commandos. Rainbow Six. Delta Force. Special Ops. Titles of varying merit, they may be, but none can match this brilliant offering from Czech Republic coders, Illusion Software. Hidden and Dangerous sees you take control of four highly trained special operatives who you direct behind enemy lines and complete a selection of missions. The action takes place in World War II and sees you travel into Germany, Norway, Italy and along the Danube river.

The scenarios are complicated, thought provoking and extremely challenging, whether you're clearing missile bunkers, blowing up dams, driving an armoured personnel carrier or sneaking into castles. Visually, it's detailed, well researched and marvellously authentic. You won't see a war strategy/action game better than Hidden and Dangerous for a long, long time.
