Hans Arno Wegner page 2 of 2

Any particular favourites from yesteryear? Why?
Some classics I still love are Z from Bitmap Brothers because it's unique and Speedball 2 for the perfect combination of action, violence and management. The original Civilization from MicroProse is still a milestone. The newer versions are more complicated but not really better. Besides that, I sometimes still play Diablo from Blizzard and last year I spent many hours playing Total Annihilation and our own puzzle game, Swing.

What has been the biggest videogaming let-down for you last year? Why?
It's difficult to say because there have been a lot of interesting games in the last year. I've played most of them and enjoyed a lot of them.

Any titles you're really looking forward to in the near future? Why?
Yes, of course! I'm really looking forward to Diablo II because I loved Diablo so much I played it for months and months. I'm also really interested in seeing the gameplay elements of Black and White from Lionhead and Homeworld from Relic.

When all's said and done, what's your favourite game ever?
There is no one and only game I would prefer above all the others. It depends on who I'm playing with, how many friends I've got round or the mood I'm in. I like innovation and creativity and I admire any and every game that brings new ideas to the industry.
