| Ultima Online: The Second Age (PC) |
With so few games released this weekend, it seems like a good time to get stuck into a bit of online virtual life with Ultima Online: The Second Age. Richard Garriott's multiplayer masterpiece was awarded 90% in Future Gamer this week, and while it can be tough going at first, persistence certainly reaps rewards
A game of this nature allows you to do pretty much whatever you want, even things that would see you promptly locked up in real life. Heck, you might get virtually locked up in the game! Some people even choose to become fishermen and wile away their online hours sitting on a virtual riverbank, warming virtual maggots in their mouths.
So if you've got the time, the patience and the desire for a larger than average phone bill, give Ultima Online: The Second Age a try. You just might love it. Oh, and if you play on the Europa server, keep an eye out for Derek Knobbs. This nutter runs around in only his pants and shouts at people - he should be avoided at all costs...
