How did Sonic Adventure's development begin? Did it evolve from Saturn's unreleased Sonic Xtreme?

It had been a long time since the last project so we started the development with a fresh feeling. 3D world, online ability... there were many new features so I was really excited.

Being the first Sonic game in 3D, how do you see the transition made from Sonic's 2D gameplay to 3D?

To see the world expand is really interesting and fun but to develop that is surprisingly difficult.

What new features will Sonic Adventure: International add to its previous version?

Five different language texts are available, and also World Time Attack can be enjoyed too.

It seems that Easter eggs in Sonic Team games have become less frequent. Will there be any surprises for Sonic Adventure: International?

There'll be different language text selection and the World Time Attack. It's really enjoyable.

Did Dreamcast fully satisfy you in its capacity when Sonic Adventure was in development?

Yes, I'm fully satisfied with Dreamcast's spec. When we talk about the cost performance, it's great too.

Do you think it could be pushed much further?

I think it's enough.

How complete is NiGHTS 2 in its current stage?

We're not developing the game.
