Development Options

Dear Future Gamer

Having become disillusioned by the lack of new game ideas, I've developed a number of new ones which I would like to offer to developers or develop myself. Where should I go for advice? Many thanks for your attention.

Michael Green

FG: Sorry to say this Michael, but it's extremely difficult to get any software houses to listen to game ideas that haven't originated from within their own development teams. I could suggest you send off your ideas to all the top software houses, but the chances are they'd just bin them without so much as an, "Oh look, this sound's interesting." Possibly the best route would be to contact them - through their websites perhaps - and ask if they'd like to see your ideas. Most will say no, but you might just get lucky with one or two of the smaller, friendlier ones. Failing that, if any software house wishes to contact me on this subject, I'll pass on Michael's address.
