Dear Future Gamer
I've subscribed and received your ezine for some time, and since I own both a console and a PC, I've been fairly pleased with the content. However, I do have one complaint: please can you stop allowing console players to review PC games. I feel that your reviewer has been sucked into the trap of hype, as in this case. Your reviewer gave Homeworld (FG50) only 72 per cent, saying that if you were new to the genre then you should try C&C. However, I'm sure that anyone out there who has played both Homeworld and C&C will agree that C&C 3 (Tiberian Sun) is one of the worst games to come out of Westwood in a long time, whereas Homeworld not only contains a great graphics engine (as was credited by your reviewer) but a superb storyline and excellent gameplay.
Following your 90 per cent review of C&C 3, I was foolish enough to go out and buy it, but after two levels it go so mind-numbingly boring that I haven't played it since. However, in the case of Homeworld, I've been playing it as much as I can since I bought it.

FG:
Sorry Foobie, we can't agree with you. Homeworld was a disappointment, and though we wanted more from Tiberian Sun, we still think it's a great game - better than Homeworld, in fact.
